Privacy
AdBubbles sets no cookie, stores no identifier, and collects no personal data from readers.
Readers of publisher sites
If you have arrived here from an "Ads by AdBubbles" mark in a bubble on someone else's website, this section is the one that concerns you.
The AdBubbles embed on that site set no cookie, wrote nothing to your browser's storage, and did not fingerprint your device. It holds no identifier for you, so it cannot recognise you on the next page or on any other site. There is no profile, no audience segment, and no cross-site history.
What it did record is three counts, none of them tied to a person: that a page was viewed, that a bubble stayed visible for one second, and that a link was followed. Each count carries the site, the campaign, the word, the date, a device class, and a country. The country comes from a request header added by our network provider, so no address has to be stored to know it.
An address is used for one purpose and then discarded: a salted hash, with the salt changing daily, lets us notice the same visitor triggering the same count many times in one day, which is how invalid traffic is found. Raw events, including that hash, are deleted after 30 days. The counts that remain are totals with no visitor in them.
Publishers and advertisers with an account
An account holder gives us a name, an email address, and a password, which is stored only as a hash. An advertiser also gives a business name and address, because both are needed on an invoice and to identify the sender of commercial email. Sites added by a publisher are stored with their domain, category, language, and settings.
Payments are handled by Stripe, and publisher payouts by Stripe Connect. Card details are never seen by AdBubbles. Stripe collects whatever identity and tax information it needs to make a payout, under its own terms.
This site sets one cookie: a session cookie when you sign in. It carries no advertising purpose and is removed when you sign out.
Account holders receive transactional mail (verification, password resets, payout notices) and a weekly summary of their own numbers. Every commercial message carries our identity, a postal address, and a working unsubscribe link, and an unsubscribe is honoured within ten business days.
